Ian Legard is the Founder and Managing Director of Procuria.

Ian is an industry professional with 19 years experience working for the largest buying consortium in Europe, with a turnover in excess of £1.4 billion through its central distribution operation, servicing the retail trade sector.

For the last 10 years Ian has specialized in the procurement of overhead cost solutions.

An experienced senior commercial buyer with a proven track record in many complex market sectors including food, both temperature controlled and ambient, FMCG and all areas of overhead cost including telecoms, utilities, transaction processing and over 40 other sectors.

Ian was responsible for the re-engineering of central billing on behalf of Nisa Today’s, Europe’s largest buying consortium. This application delivered a new trading channel for the business to facilitate future growth.
