Procuria Secures Deal with Shred-It for Confidential Waste

We are please to announce we have successfully agreed a Group wide arrangement with Shred-it to supply a secure document destruction service.

Shred-it specialises in assisting companies to mitigate the risk of a potential data breach. If your confidential information were to appear in the public domain, you run the risk of damage to your corporate reputation and potential fines from regulatory bodies.

Shred-it will shred all your confidential information ON SITE, leaving you with a Certificate of Destruction on the same day as the collection. You will also receive an Environmental Certificate once a year showing how many trees you have saved from destruction.

We have agreed a reduced group contract price which will include the supply of up to 3 security consoles for your office as part of the contract. Your scheduled service and number of consoles depends on your requirements and the amount of sensitive information you produce. Frequency will be determined prior to service by you and your Shred-it Sales Representative. You may require shredding every day, once a week, or once a month. If your service needs change, your frequency can be modified accordingly.

A sales representative will contact you over the next month or so to arrange a visit to discuss this new agreement but if you are happy to have this service in place or would like to arrange a visit then please call 0845 300 9027.

If you are not currently using the secure services of Shred-it we ask that you do give it some thought. Please note that if you are shredding your own information you are not fully complying with the Data Protection Act as you do not have proof of disposal. Every business has a Corporate Social Responsibility which includes environmental issues such as recycling. Shred-it will recycle 100% of the paper they shred without sorting through it.

For those of you already using Shred-it then your prices will come in to line with the new reduced rates.
