In simple terms, you give us your bills and we’ll invite the suppliers to tender for your business and then manage the process of setting up a new contract. Because we manage the contract, the rates available are almost always significantly better than the supplier will offer you if you go directly to them..

Management
As with any commercial contract, you need to be careful and understand what you are signing-up to. In the case of energy supply contracts, this usually means a 12 month deal, with a pre-arranged renewal date several months before the contract ends.
While you are busy concentrating on your core business these critical dates are easily overlooked, especially if you have several premises each with different contract dates, with different power suppliers. You can easily find you’ve been moved to the suppliers’ standard (more expensive) rates if you fail to renegotiate in time.
Procuria will manage your energy contracts. That means that we’ll automatically start the renegotiation process for you, at exactly the right time. We track your usage, so we can get you the best deal available based on the market rates at the time of renewal.
What we need from you
Your most recent Gas and Electric bills as well as any renewal letter from your current supplier (if you have received one in the last month). This information will allow us to provide you with a price comparison against your current or renewal unit price quoted by your current supplier.
To ensure we have all the information required, we ask you to send all pages of your Gas and Electric bill(s).

The information that should be shown on your bills
Suppliers name
e.g. British Gas, NPower, Powergen etc
Name and Address
Your name or company name and full address, this is usually shown on the top left of the bill.
Site Address
This can usually be found in smaller print near the top of the bill on the right hand side, but there is no set place for it. If you have multiple sites we need the bills for each site.
MPAN Number
The full MPAN needs to be visible on an Electricity bill. This can be anywhere on the bill, some suppliers will display this information on another page at the very edge of the page so it is not visible when faxed.
MPR Number
The full MPR (Meter Point Reference) number needs to be visible on a Gas bill.
Billing Period
We need your most recent bill. Out of date bills may relate to an old contract so the information including current rates will be incorrect. This would invalidate any analysis carried out. Please be sure it is a bill and not just a statement.
Current Rates/Charges
This is all the rates/prices you are currently paying. This is usually found at the centre of a bill where the cost is calculated but some suppliers have their charges on separate sheets.
Usage
This is the number of kWh used during the billing period. It is useful to determine if the current usage is a true representation - please check it against your actual Gas and Electric usage for all relevant sites. If this is not possible then you can send us a previous bill for usage purposes only in order for us to make a comparison
